From Papi came the spirit of community and tradition. Through dominoes, chess, fútbol, and gatherings within their Hispanic cultural community, she gained an early appreciation for the ritual, conversation, and craftsmanship surrounding cigars and rum.
From Abuela came the language of care, flavor, and hospitality. In the kitchen, she learned the beauty of preparing food for family, the importance of service, and the joy that comes from bringing people together around the table.
